STI's

Some sexually transmitted infections (STIs) (also sometimes refered to as sexually transmitted diseases STDs) are irritating and some can make you seriously ill. No one wants an STI so it’s important to protect yourself by using a condom and getting tested if you think you might have been at risk.

Most STIs can be cured and those that can’t can be managed with medication so that you can remain healthy and live a relatively normal life.

The sooner an STI is diagnosed, the sooner you can receive treatment. This means that you are less likely to pass it on to other people and less likely to do long-term damage to your health. It’s also easier to treat a new infection than an older one.Find out more about STIs, symptoms and treatment or use the symptom-o-tron to find out more.
