Highland Sexual Health has a dedicated Young People’s provision.  If you are aged between 13 and 24 you can book an appointment in one of our clinics.

We provide a confidential and non-judgemental service for everyone.  Young people aged 13-16 have the same right to confidentiality as adults.  We will only ever share information about you if we are worried that you or someone else is at risk.

At your appointment we can help with:-

     STI testing and treatment         

Contraception

      Emergency contraception

      Condoms and Free Period Products

   HIV – PrEP; PEP; vaccines

Our clinics are held every Monday, Thursday and Friday from our Highland Sexual Health base at the RNI Hospital, Inverness.  Our opening times are:-

Monday - 4:30pm - 7:00pm

Thursday - 4:30pm - 7:00pm and

Friday - 1.30pm - 4.30pm

Clinics are appointment only.  Most appointments are bookable online using the Online Booking tab above or by calling 01463 888300.

What we provide

  • Contraception including emergency contraception - emergency contraception in tablet form is available free of charge from most community pharmacies
  • Contraceptive Implants and Coils (coils are currently not provided within the Teen clinic)
  • Testing and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) for everyone
  • HIV testing and treatment including post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV
  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP)
  • Pregnancy testing and referral for termination of pregnancy
  • FREE condoms
  • General information and advice regarding sexual health and contraception
